Individual counselling is tailored to your specific needs, goals and hopes. We work together to deeply understand your current situation and what you would like to be different. Based on this, we formulate your goals and collaborate on achieving them throughout the therapeutic process.

Couples counselling is a safe space in which both partners can openly share and address any relationship challenges and conflicts in order to build more connection, enjoyment and mutual support.
-
Your relationship may benefit from couples counselling if you experience:
Difficulty managing issues and conflicts in your relationship
Struggle to overcome a breach of trust in your relationship
More overall relationship negativity than positivity
Emotional disengagement and struggle to connect with one another
Lack of shared values, meaning and time spent together

INITIAL SESSION: In the first session, the goal is to get to know your relationship history, any areas of concern and your goals/hopes for treatment.
SECOND SESSION: For the second session, individual interviews are recommended and encouraged. The length of the individual interviews is mutually agreed upon and can range from 15-50 minutes, depending on each couples’ goals and resources. Recommendations for treatment are also made during the assessment stage.
THE WORK: The rest of the sessions will be with both individuals as a couple, where we work towards mutually agreed upon goals for therapy.
PHASE OUT: At this later stage of therapy, we will meet less frequently in order for you to put your new relationship skills to test and prepare for termination of the therapy.
